outfitter : Matswane safaris p.h Jaco hurst (limpopo) p.h Fanie van der walt (freestate) Just got back from my 14 days trip to Limpopo and Freestate.We had a wery nice trip with nice warm weather and only one day with rain.The hunting in Freestate took place close to the city of welcom and we hunted for Common reebuck,Oryx and White and copper springbuck there. I shot this wery nice White springbuck the 2 day and it was a wery long shot but i took it with the 1 shot  The oryx was shot at a large farm where they had some BIG bulls and it was mesuret to be 42 inshes (big bull)  The common reebuck was also shot at the same farm and i just love that wide thick trophy.  After have hunted in freestate we traveld up to Limpopo to the mopane districkt for som hunting for impala and warthog.I shot 1 impala with bow and one with a rifle and the where 23 and 23,5 inches  I also shot a nice wery old warthog with only one toot  After some days hunting small game i went to Phalaborwa for a buff hunt and i shot a nice female buff after a long hunt   The last day i got me a wery nice common duicker that was 5,7 inches  all in all i had a wery nice trip and took some wery nice trophiees and had a wery nice trip. | ||

Very nice I see Jaco did his magic again I'm going up there in the area in 2 weeks time to do another hunt will probarbly see him as well.  Frederik Cocquyt I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good. | |||

Wow, donner! That's an impressive bag. Great white springbok, oryx and duiker! Damn, you even beat my duiker from 2006. Shot one that was 5 1/2, and thought that was huge...
