I posted this on the South America forum a little while ago. It's actually quite common for jaguars to hunt caiman.

I was amused by one of the comments in particular...the respondee stated that he/she had just "learned" from a NatGeo special that leopards (!) frequently preyed upon alligators (!!!).

Ain't educashunal TV wonderful?
