Well it took over two years for my mounted Vaalie to get here but it was worth the wait.
A "Jaws" rhebuck for sure. But check out the next one to see what "Jaws" really means.

Where did you get the second Vaal? Where is he in book, that is amazing?

What a GREAT Trophy! Where & When did you take it?

I took the buck in picture #1 two years ago in the Karoo with Peter Thormahlen. It measured 9 6/8" and is listed at #13 in the recent SCI book. The second one was also killed in the Karoo a few years ago by a local SA hunter. It has not been entered in SCI but is in the top 3 of Roland Ward. It measures 11 1/2" to my best recolection. We had heard about it it and stopped at a private residence to see it.

Heck of a rhebok. I'll be trying in the Karoo this August for one again. I failed in '04 but I hope to do better this year. but I don't expect anything like what you got though.
