I am posting this with permission from the hunter, Bernhardt Filter and the PH, Adrian Salter of 'Adroda Safaris RSA'

Bernhardt, a wheelchair hunter, guided by Adrian, whom I hunted with last month, took the buff near Griekwastad, Northern Cape RSA, with his bow.

Me, I am just very happy for all involved when I hear stories like this and see pictures like this.

Well done to all involved!

Congratulations to all involved! Well done! I love it when a PH can successfully accommodate a hunter who is not a super athlete!

What wonderful post! Congratulations to Bernhardt and Adrian.
You guys must be good stalkers and have more guts than Dick Tracey. I admire you! How close were you for the shot?

It's a beautiful bull too. Knap Gedaan! (Well done.)

Great achievement. Not like he could climb a tree and wait for it to bleed out.

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

What a wonderful adventure this must have been. Congratulations to all involved. That is a very nice Buffalo for any hunter, let alone a mobility impaired archer!

Makes my day. I can still walk, but the fire in my belly grows dim. It warms my heart to see a young man so full of hunting desire make a dream come true.
