Looking at Benin
Read the latest reports on Benin and it raised my interest. Searched the reports from the last few years and thought I would look into a hunt there. Out of the way, and definitely a different species of buffalo. I have never hunted a Roan so that would be a draw. Any thoughts or ideas on your experiences, any info would be helpful.

CaracalHi there,
well at the moment there is only one concession operating. The other concessions are not running, as far as I know.
A few people book clients in the only open area. The pictures that float around here are mostly from this area.
The area is alright. It has good buffalo and decent population of Roan. Other game is very limited in quota and population.
Here are two reports from guys I have organized hunts for (the second hunt I guided myself).

RickyClarkI have been twice, not all areas are equal so please do your research and get references if necessary, prepare for the long but fun drive from the south to the north of the country (12-14 hours) in addition to the tse tse flies and very hot weather.
My second trip was to the famous Kokombri area which was incredible, we even saw a Western Cheetah!
