I've been trying to load up a photo to my signature from my own website. I have photos in .jpg,.gif and .png formats and each time I try to load one of these up I get an "improper image format" message - I am confused as these are all the correct formats!

And how do I get a photo under my username in the left hand column?

Anyone shed some light on this problem?

Sheephunter,

I'm getting two pics to load correctly. When I RIGHT CLICK on those pics then LEFT CLICK on "Properties" on those pics it shows 450X335 pixels.

When I click on the other pics (the ones where there is a red X in a box, it shows just 28X30 pixels). I don't know why this is, usually the thumbnail pics on Imagestation have the URL extension of .jpg.thumb.jpg These pics don't have those extentions.

Try going to Imagestation and see if all of your pics are working. Then replace all of those 28X30 pixels with normal sized pics (450X335 or thereabouts).

Regards,

Terry

Terry,
thanks for looking at it
I checked Imagestation again, all pictures are fine and of proper pixel size
I refreshed the above link as well as my leopard thread coming from several angles and can say that probably AR has a loading bug:
the pictures shown and red X'ed=not loaded are of same pixel size.Which pictures show and which get red x'ed depends on the try, meaning variable results
it therefore smells like a loading bug to me,maybe the AR programmer want to have a look at it
this problem is not isolated to my pictures but general
thanks

We just installed a new photo gallery for you to upload pics for free.

http://www.jesseshunting.com/photopost/index.php

You can upload your pics in the gallery for free. Just pick the category you want your pic in and upload the pic. Pics have to be under 640 x 640 in pixel size and under 150k in size or they won't upload.

You can email an e-card to a friend of the pics you like too.

You can post your pics into other forums once you load the pic here in the pic gallery. At the bottom of each pic is the UBB code to post your pics into a forum. There won't be any ads on your pics either like some of the other image hosts do.

Happy pic posting.

lofter,

The last part of that should be [/img] NOT [img\]

Plus, you are trying to link to an album at Imagestation, not to a picture.

Use the URL Instant UBB Code when linking to an album.

Regards,

Terry

Bob

The address in your photo is incorrect syntax.

eg cybersafaris.com.au/page.htm/photo.png

It should be something like this

cybersafaris.com.au/directory/photo.jpeg (or jpg or gif)

I don't think .png will work (?)

Also the photo must be within a certain size to upload into the forums (at least in the older versions)
