Who's going to SCI in Nashville? I've never been to the SCI convention, but when DSC moved to Atlanta, I thought I might as well go to Nashville instead. First thing I noticed is the tickets are a lot more expensive. I'll be glad when DSC is back in Dallas.

I’ll be there for the whole show. You’ll have a pretty good wait for DSC to be in Dallas, I’m told they have reserved dates in 2030. Construction/demolition of convention center hasn’t begun.

I fly in on Wednesday and will attend the show Thursday through Saturday. Need to finalize 2025 hunt and book for next year, not sure if it will be 2026 or 27. I've been going every other year, but I'm getting old, so may want to start going every year.

Wife and I thought about it, but with the exchange rate the way it is right now we decided to be fiscally responsible and stay home.

I'd rather be out trapping anyways.

I’ll be there Wednesday through Friday. Looking for ibex in Mongolia or possibly blue sheep in Nepal. And a top notch archery whitetail hunt somewhere.

I’ve been to DSC more than 15 years in a row. I have zero interest in traveling to Atlanta and that’s what caused me to finally join SCI.

It is a fundraiser . It costs big time for governmental affairs and litigation.

We are cruising Africa until Feb 28...

To dogcat's comment on costs, and Skyline on CDN Exchange rates, I think with communications by Facetime, Zoom, Text and Email, I am not so sure there really is a need for high quality outfitters to front the huge expense of Exhibitor fees, donations and travel, if they are selling out?? All of this ADDS TO THE COST OF OUR HUNTS!!
Seems to me the best Outfitters we should be hunting with are NOT at these Big Conventions anymore??
When I first started hunting Africa, 1978... it took 30 days to send letters by postal service, and some had party line phones you could call to boo your hunts and confirm arrangements. There were very few Booking Agents back then... so maybe it was good to attend the Big Conventions...
Word of mouth and REFERRALS are the best and today, most frequent way of getting bookings, all the others go to Conventions!!

Amen. I always attended the half-day SCI Legal Seminar held on Thursday or Friday. 4.5 hours of CLE and insights into everything that the SCI lawyers were fighting and challenging. And yes, they are in the fight for hunters and gun owners, with a legal office in D.C. and with time also spent on Capitol Hill.
