Ernest sent me these photos and asked that I post them for him. This buffalo is fantastic if you like heavy bosses. I'm told he was 38.5" wide, with 18" bosses. Heck of a bull!   Ernest has a couple more photos to share, but he needs to send them over in a different format. He got to do a little hunting for himself, and took a fantastic bushbuck and very nice leopard. I'll post those as soon as he re-sends them. | ||

Great trophy! I always think that Buff trophy quality is primarily about the bosses. Love to have one just like it. When you get bored with life, start hunting dangerous game with a handgun. | |||

I agree. Spread alone is a poor way to judge a buffalo. That is one heck of a trophy! Jason "You're not hard-core, unless you live hard-core." _______________________ Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt. Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby.
