trouthunterdjChristies Adventures??
Hello,
Can anyone give me any information about Christies Adventures? Has anyone hunted Namibia with them?
Thanks in advance,
ddj

Len HawkinsThere are quite a few on this site who have hunted with Christy. I conversed with a number of them, and I am sure they will chime in- if not you can search the forum and find plenty of input.
Christy is currently my first choice for a hunt in Namibia, so much so my wife has pretty much talked me into waiting until 2010 to go (Christy was booked for all dates we had available for 2009).
I personally spoke with at least 10 of his references- all had glowing reports. Christy was excellent about keeping me updated in regards to leopards and eland (my top two trophies), and sent me numerous photos as they were harvested. He has been extremely responsive, his pricing is quite fair, and his areas are quite large. Most all of his clients I spoke with were quite fond of him, and planned on visiting them again in the future.
As I said, others will probably chime in, and I am very close to booking two weeks for my family for 2010 instead of going with another outfit in Namibia or South Africa. Check him out, it is time well spent.

makiI arranged a 2006 hunt through Chrisite and have only good things to say about them. In the end, I didn't hunt with them directly. In fact I've never met them face to face. The changes that WE made to my hunt were with my informed consent. They understood and delivered what I wanted and I never once had reason doubt their desire to do just that.
Cheers,
Dean

WandererI hunted at Christie's and had a great time. Well cared for and everything as advertised. My trophies just went to the taxidermist here and it was a real reminder of what a good time I had. The fishing on the coast was good as well, cold though, I about froze..
Never worry about theory as long as the machinery does what it's supposed to do.

LorenzoI have hunted there a couple of years ago and it was a great place. Plenty of animals.
When I was there the place was open, only cattle fences, now I think he has fenced a part of his farm, but if he has closed the area I was told he was going to fence, don't worry, it was a really BIG area !!!
Great chap and plenty of game.

scruffyA chap (from Southern Alberta) phoned me last night ... he just got back from hunting with Christie ... He whacked a leopard, 57 Inch kudu, monster caracal, Mtn. Zebra ... so far this year his clients are 7/7 on leopards ... Pretty impressive for those clever Namibian cats ... He is a very nice man. I have shared campfires with him lots .. and will again.
