Hello all,

Does anyone have experience bore sighting the AR 50? Can you use a bore sight with the muzzle brake on? If so is there a particular bore sight needed?

Thank you

For my AR-50, I set it up on it's bipod with the bolt removed. Look down the barrel bore at some distinct object and adjust the scope crosshairs on it.
A streetlight in the evening is my favorite.
No faster, easier or cheaper method exists, IMO.

Ditto to the previous post, with any bolt action rifle.
Plus, the quickest way to get on paper, is don't shoot paper! At least for the sight in shots. Pick out a dirt clod, clump of grass or something else to aim at and shoot the berm. Ask for help to spot if needed. Usually you can see where you hit. After your shot, put the cross hairs back on your point of aim and dial the reticle over to your point of impact. It should not take more than three shots to sight in.
