I went to the Barnes website. Is the ballistic coefficient a typo? 1.095 seems rediculous. I didn't even know that was possible lol. - TomFromTheShade - Make it a point in life to leave this world a little better off than it was before you came into it.

A-max's are listed at 1.01 I haven't done the tests myself but the range reports and ballistics verify this number.

Most BC's are theoretical. Very few bullet makers have the chance or money to verify BC's with Radar.

Well, with the dimesions of the bullet, the density, the weight, and some basic aerodynamic drag testing you can get pretty damn close to a BC. I was astounded! If the barnes solid holds together at those veolicties I couldn't imagine a better long range stopper! - TomFromTheShade - Make it a point in life to leave this world a little better off than it was before you came into it.

BC's are easy to test... Measure the muzzle velocity and the trajectory. Done.
