I came across a stash of the old style .510"AMAXs, but can't find any info on them. Compared to the current bullet that shares the same sku, they are a bit longer (~2.700"vs ~2.525"), and from eyeballing them have a very slightly longer bearing surface and a much longer boattail. I've got their 4th, 7th, 9th, and 10th manuals. The 4th doesn't list it and the 7th shows the new style bullet.

Anyone know the BC? Or why they changed it? Pros/cons? If I recall quickload listed "old style" and "new style" in their database but that's the only reference I know of. I'm also going to use this in a 510 whisper (tiny case volume) so the additional length will reduce space and require its own load workup. Thanks for any info!
