a local shop here (ahlmans) has a shooters roundup every year. lots of people come to watch exhibits, shoot guns etc. anyway i set a booth that people can shoot a 50. went through just under 500 rds in 2 days. it's really fun to watch the expression on various faces, especially the kids. they go from shock to the biggest grins you can imagine. Now the work starts, i gotta clean it

It is extreamly rewarding, as you will atest, to introduce people to the shooting sports. And it's amazing to see, as you put it, "the biggest grins you can imagine" on the face of a new 50 shooter.
I hope the "local shop" helped out with ammo expenses.
