held just behind the shoulder, in the ribs to avoid heavy bone hit. Dropped right there. 50 cal hole in, 50 cal hole out.

I shot a farm bison in northern az in oct. I was only able to get about a 60 yard shot due to the circumstances. I used a 650 gr kodiak soft. the bullet basically exploded on impact and only fragments exited. (lung shot)I think the velocity was just to high for the range. I have it on video and may try to upload it. It was pretty dramatic. It was good fun but next time I would want at least 200-300 yards. (got about 450 pounds of wrapped meat). The damage, all the heart lung area was a putrid black pudding
