State of the State, NY

Hillary, Schumer, Spitzer...
CRYBABY

Anyone want to babysit a nice Steyr, with a Nightforce when they make it illegal? I'm halfway tempted to get a destructive devices permit and build a 20mm...
BOOM

It's like California, but high taxes, no work and crappy weather... and YES, I voted.

I'm in Oregon and can offer a secure lock-up. You'd want insurance.

I need to get a second safe. But when I do, there's room for a 50 BMG. -- mostly because I'd be motivated to fly in the face of NY and document that someone from that state owns it, but it's here, safe in the West.

On a less inflammatory note, get permits. Doesn't Class III cover a 50 BMG?

Actually, I think there's a "centerist" climate brewing, and the Demo's have figured that gun legislation will have them losing voters.

But you're living in a state where firearms are viewed as threats to the great washed middle-class.

Get out to the "West" where teen girls walk into gun shops with a 30-06 slung over their shoulder, and it doesn't belong to their boyfriend. Also, they know how to gut an elk.

The gun is just another tool in the truck. And we like it that way, just fine, thank you very much.

While Clinton was about half way through his second term, my friends and I were at our favorite range in NW Indiana. We were both shooting at the 100 yard range when a fellow shooter occupied the stall next to me. He uncased and started to shoot a HK-91, a Rock River Arms AR-15, and lastly my personal favorite, a M-14.

My life long friend of at that, time over 25 years looked over at the guy shooting the so called assualt rifles, and remarked, "if we ever loose our gun rites it will be becuase of guys like him" I promptly replied with no consideration for our long friend ship, with, no you stupid f**k, if we ever loose our 2nd Amendmennt rites it will be becuase of gun owners like you to GD cheap and f**king lazy to get involved, or at the vary least spend a few scant $$$ and join the NRA or some other like pro-gun political organization.

My friend like tens of millions of other gun owners accross this country are either content in allowing people such as us to do all the fighting for them, or thay are sill of the utterly idiotic opinion that "thay cant take our guns away from us" attitude. Once again, apathy and ignorance ruel the day.

AZ is looking to be more Kalifornia-ized every day. Too many of them hippies immigrating into AZ. It should be illegal. It gets worse every year out there. Yeah, I don't live there but my Mom has for 30 years and I visit each year after the Snow Birds leave in the spring. Just send your fifties to me in Misery, Collins. I will stroke them and fire them as often as you wish. Packy

I have noticed over the last ten or so years just what you have said. They f*** up their own state. Then move to Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Arizona. Because it's such a nice place to live! Then they procede to f*** up their adopted home. Then have the balls to ask why no one in their new community likes them(except other Cal transplants)

have some pick me up guys - the court decision in DC would forbid them from screwing around with almost anything. even if it doesn't get to the supreme court it does set a precident, and in the decision the judges say that since the militia is comprised of citizens, that they should have the same weaponry as do the militia. Me I want an abrahms

And ignorant as anyone I've had the displeasure to run across on the net. Why don't you stay in school and learn to read. Considering your inability to derive information from text you must be in 10th grade or so... I think you should run along and let the gun owners, shooters, reloaders and veterans here have a little adult time.

Ta-ta for now bum

Typical Dumocrat reaction, when confronted by uncomfortable facts yell, attack the messenger, anything to draw attention away from the issue at hand.

Do you really think you can say one thing on one thread, say something 180 degrees different on another thread and get away with it ?

I call a spade a spade.

I vote Idaho:
1. Because I moved here from southern Illinois in 1978 to live free.
2. Our governor stated publicly that he has notified F&G that the first wolf tag sold will have his name on it.

I lived there for 5 years already, Mtn. Home, Strange name for a place in the desert, but it was pretty, and great people. When I left you could go away for a weekend and leave your keys in your car. I'm not sure I ever knew where my house keys were. But, cold...

You can do pretty much whatever you want here in ND. You just have to put up with the big nothing, cold temperatures and nasty winds.

Boise way? I remember when rush hour was 20 minutes long... PRE-Micron!

I'm thinking I'm going to fight it out and be one of the last to go. Virginia still has reasonable gun laws AND lakes that never freeze. (a big plus)

Send the guns to me! Tucked 1/2 way between North Dakota and Idaho, I think I can give them a better home, besides, we have Chinook winds that allow us a reprieve from old man winter, so you know they'll get used um, er, taken care of...
