I should have been more specific and used examples in my earlier post: With cartridges that develop muzzle velocities ranging from 2200-2450 fps, I have put the 125 grain BT through both shoulders of 150-200 pound whitetail and exotics along with a few medium-sized (100-150 pound) wild hogs. App. 75% of the time, there were exits. Placed just behind the shoulder and through the thin ribcages of these animals, you could almost bet the farm that you'd get an exit. | ||

It's probably the best choice of 308 hunting bullet out there for medium game out of a pistol.
