I just finished fireforming brass for my Contender in 6.5 TCU and am ready to work up some loads with 100gr Sierra HPs to use on coyotes and paper. Powders I have on hand in the TCU's range are IMR 4198 and Benchmark. I've read several places that H335 is the powder for the 6.5. It appears that H335 and Benchmark are very close and I like the metering ability of Benchmark. I've loaded up a few test rounds with both 23 and 24 grains. I expect these to be on the light side but I have plenty of time to work up slowly. Has anyone else out there tried Benchmark and if so what were the results? | ||
