While looking in a gunstore in my new town (we have just recently moved), I found a number of used TC barrels. The one I remembered most was a 10 inch 221 Fireball barrel with Leupold base and rings for $139. Several people told me it is the largest gun store west of Wichita, KS. Dave, I didn't read your post good. It is a Contender Barrel. No idea on the smith. Did Thompson Center ever chamber in the 221 Fireball? xphunter | |||

Yes, TC chambered barrels for the 221. They did most of them in a 10" octagon. There were a few bull barrels in 10" too i believe...... | |||
