Does anyone have load data on this combination for the Contender?

You can use Trapdoor level loads in your Contender.

I have had excellent results with AA2495 and cast bullets.

My barrel favors AA2495, H322 and IMR4198 with 400 gr cast and jacketed bullets. It also likes the 300 gr Barnes X with H322, 4198 and 2015BR.

I have used the Speer 400 gr. JSP on elk at 130 yds. the recovered bullets measured .84 the load was a stout charge of H322 with Win. WLR primers.

If memory serves me I remember getting about 1750 from the load. It was a load published by Dean Grennell in 1989. I still use the load today.
