I just shot my new 10" 22 Hornet Barrel for the first time and I'm gonna like this one! I have a Simmons 3.8-12x rifle scope on it and one of the new benchrest fore ends from KTS Ammo.

Perfect 4 leaf clover for 4 shots at 25 yards.
Yes I'm sure it shoots longer distances but this weekend we had 2" of rain at the range here in Austin and it is a flood plane area so I was not going to wade out to the 100 yard line.

I was using Winchester factory loads but need a down load for Silhouette shooting.

Why did I wait so long to get one of these?
Any good loads

I found that the factory Winchester 46gr HP load shot extremely well in my factory carbine barrel (.3's - .6's when my bench skills are up to par). I've been unable to duplicate the consistancy of the factory load with any Winchester powders except the discontinued WW680. WW296 and AA 1680 were close but not close enough. I have 4 lbs. of WW680 left that should last me a long time. My barrel is partial to the WW 46gr bullet - nothing I've tried in a green box pleases it at all. She's a picky little princess so I just decided to give her what she wants and enjoy...
