I'm looking at getting a new barrel for my encore.
I'm thinking about a 22-250 or 25-06 both in 15" pistol. I don't know if the 25-06 at close range well tear up small varmints and coyotes even with 75grain bullet, or should I go with 22-250 with 45gr to 55gr bullet. The one plus for the 25-06 is that I can use it on deer, the down side is that my son can't shoot it where as the 22-250 he probable can.
