...and the wrong forum, but so many of you guys are familair with the great GB that I just had to pass this along.

A friend of mine e-mailed me an excerpt from a thread on GBO, and this is what GB himself has to say about Nikon Monarch optics. (I guess they refused to send him anything free for his "evaluation." )

"I've never owned a Nikon product of any kind. I've looked thru Nikon binoculars and Monarch scopes owned by others and have been totally unimpressed. I'd rather have Tasco than the ones I've seen."

Yea, it certainly does. I am guessing he contacted Nikon to either advertise on the site or send him something for his "evaluation" and that they declined.

The rot in the pond just get geater. I wnet ther until boss toad got the new web site-- Then my name & password were gone. I never thought I had any troubler there except for one of the moderatores,he thouht he would bitch and I would drop my price on a item. I think your'e right on.

Moon-If he saw you posted ANYTHING over here, he went ahead de-activated your account. He lurks in the shadows and wants total control of his members. But you know what: I am willing to bet he still counts all the de-activations in his total membership tally.
