I had a 10mm super 14 that I was wanting to get rechambered to the 40-44 but never did. I sold the barrel and never even shot it as a 10mm. I guess I should have had it done. It would have been cool to have had it cut to 9" and chambered to 40-44. But I only know of the custom dies from SSK that would work. Cast bullets in 170gr. would have really done a job on game. Yes...No?

Geez, And here I thought of only the original 338 Woodswalker. Looks like he has a load of them now.

I always liked the 40/44. It sounds like a neat round. Nice little cartridge with some aditude. Maybe in the future. Lone Hunter

Damn, I knew I should have kept that barrel. Dies are only 68 bucks and I have about a million pcs. of 44 brass.

Check with Mike Bellm as I traded a new 14" 10mm in on my 308 Bellm. First time I've heard of the 40/44. Sounds like a fun round.
