Well, yesterday the weather went from rain, fog and a little sunshine. Just as the weather started to clear. I saw movment in the timber above me. "It was a nice buck" I let out a few low grunts and he worked his way down the trail. I set-up and got ready to take a shot as soon as I could. Just then another buck came-in and the buck turned. I had only one shot now...A high back shot! I ranged him @ 125 yards and set the cross hairs dead-on his back. KABOOOOOM!! The .350 Reminton Mag XP-100 sent a 200gr. Hornady to its mark!

Congrats on the shot and on bagging a nice buck! I am guessing bullet performance was pretty impressive at that range. Bobby Μολὼν λαβέ The most important thing in life is not what we do but how and why we do it. - Nana Mouskouri

Nut, Very nice buck... Did you get to weigh him? I bet he's well over 200. They just don't get that big down here. He looks as big as a mature Colorado Muley but he's a whitetail according to the antlers unless I'm full of it. I'm a big 350RM fan but the recoil is so ferocious that I only have one left and it's a lightweight Model 7 rifle and it's a brute. $bob$

Aye, nice shot! Bullet performance must have been something to see! How long have you been using that particular XP setup, and what scope do you have on it?

Very nice WA Blacktail. Most guys don't get them with a rifle. What part of WA are you in? I'm up north of the big city. Thanks for posting Tony Treat others as you would have others treat you.
