Does anyone else have an opinion regarding the various Contender Frame Illustrations that T/C has used over the years? The only one I have liked was the old cougar depicted as perched atop a ledge or cliff, as in the first pic below (old style frame which I won just tonight BTW, adding to my store of the favored by me old style Frame with it's superior trigger.
The second pic is of my least favorite frame, that of the derranged and retarded cougar's head as on the last new vintage of Contender frames. Does anyone else find this illustration as aesthetically dissapointing as I do?

Just to see if there was actually anyone out there that PREFERED the derranged and retarded cougar's head frames over the much more aesthetically pleasing older illustration frames
Hey, one must take what frames one finds these days, but I often wonder what genius decided that the newer illustration was somehow BETTER ???

Sean, I have seen a couple with nothing on them. They looked really good but they were really high gloss blue and polished stainless and $400. each. I think the matte would look great. I may get a couple of my frames done but it aint cheap. About 80 bucks each.
The plain jane (as in NO STUPID PICTURE) would be my pick! Fox Ridge offered them for a while and i wished that i had purchased one. I guess that is a plus for the Encore and the G2 dont/wont have any STUPID lookin pics on them! Instead on them you get the "humps", LOL!

I know TC went to a lot of effort to come up with a design that was easy and yet would hide any imperfections, but I wish they were just plain slab sides or a bead blast or mold induced slightly pebbly matte surface. Back when I thought the G-2 was a reality ( Yeah, I know, I used to believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny too) I just waited for the unadorned sides of the "new style" frame.

Off to the range to make little round holes in paper in anticipation of making little round holes in one side of a deer or two in the near future!
Oh, and bigger ragged holes on the other side!

What the hell are you trying to say TCLouis, that there is NO Santa and Easter Bunny? Thanks a lot pal, I'll need years of therapy to get over this revelation. I think I'll go and suck my thumb now...
Okay, okay, okay!! Enough of all the snickers and constipated kitten jokes! How about some worth while suggestions and creative ideas oh how to remove (or relieve?) the poor cat from the sides of our stainless contenders?!?
YOURE RIGHT SEAN THE T C CAT ON THE ROCKS IN FRONT OF A MOON IS THE BEST . I,VE ALWAYS LIKED T. C.S FRAMES WITH THAT CAT ON THERE .I'M REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ENCORE FRAMES. THE ORIGINAL CATS ARE SO MUCH BETTER.
