I am also interested, but like MSSmagnum, the price is an important consideration.

The 150gr. Rem. .358" SP was the absolute best I ever found to use in my 35Rem. and 357Herrett for the West Virginia whitetail. I bought 1,000 of them from Midway when I heard they were to be discontinued. I'm down to less than 100 left, hoarding them now.
I'd take 1 or 2 thousand more, if the price was what it was then.

This is the 150gr PSP. I have a place that told me that Remington will run them 100,000 of these bullets but for them to order them they need a order for 50,000 bullets up front and they will place the order.I should have a price for them next week and the only other cost will be boxs and shipping. The 50,000 bullets will be shipped to me and I will have to box them and ship them out to you.The bullet will come to me in 1,000 pc to a bag this should make it easy to do. I will List the price as soon as I get it.

Willing ta share the Max article?

I may just go load a few of the Rem 150s kinda hot and see what they will do in my 14" Max. Had them up over 2100 fps in the 10" as I remember it!

Shoot they may just be more than I need.

Put me down for a couple thousand.
Let me know the price and I may take some more.
These will work perfect in my rimless 357max that I am doing on an AR15 action.
If there is any intrest, I am also doing 17remington and 300/221(Whisper) barrels and uppers for the AR15. Prices available on request.

I'M still waiting to hear from them This is all I know right now

HI Paul
This would be a special order item only and would require at least 12 weeks lead time and a minimum purchase of 100,000. We would want you to take 50,000 pieces immediately leaving us 50,000 to hopefully be able to sell to others. If Remington requires 200,000 on the special run, we will most likely not order. There is no guarantee that Remington will even produce at all. I am waiting for their response.

Thanks, Mike

I'm interested in the 150s also..... waiting to hear the price though.

One thought I have is seeing if CNC Cartridge would take a jag of them and offer a special loading for the .357 Max.

They will do this, and it would open doors for those who don't load or don't want to take the time to load this round.

You might give them a call to let them know you are interested. (618)435-2855

Has anyone used these bullets to hunt deer size game in the Max?
Can we get enough velocity to make them expand and perform on game?

LouisB

I have a couple of hundred of them left from some playing a few years ago, but NOT enough time to get them shooting before season ends . . . assuming I could get a volunteer to step out in front of me to test them.

Please keep us updated on the 150PSP 35's. I wonder if they'd leave off the canelure? It's never in the right place on any gun I've owned anyway.

I bounced the 150s off CNC Cartridge, and Danny said he'd take some.... 5K I think he said, but again, it depends largely on the price.

We should be talking to more of the commercial reloaders who can handle larger quantities.

You might also talk to Richard at www.armsandammo.com . They move a lot of bulk bullets in the Midwest and used to carry the .35 cal. 150s.

Jeff at Venator Ammunition is another commercial loader who comes to mind. Don't know if he has a website or not, but I can probably dig out a phone number for him.

I'd suggest that as many of you as possible bump the bulk components dealers at all the gunshows you can this winter.

The .35 cal. Rem. 150 is an excellent bullet for deer in the Max. and other rounds as well, inspite of the bad rap the writers used to routinely give it in .35 Rem. ammo.

I'd like to see this project fly, but we need some real numbers and need to solicit support from the boys that can handle some significant numbers.

I'm in for 1M. I have an unfired 10" .357 Herrett and I understand that this is THE bullet for whitetails with the shorter tube.

Can I suggest that we start a new thread for this if we actually get a price so we don't have to keep checking and checking and checking?
