Anybody out there use pentax scopes on encore, contender, etc. Trying to find a used scope for encore pistol barrel. Saw they made them back in 96 or so but none today. The one I'm interested in is the 2.5x7x36 or something like that? Thanks in advance. [Smile]

WHY BUY A USED SCOPE WHEN YOU CAN BUY A NEW BUSHNELL 2-6X32 FOR UNDER A 150 BUCKS UNLESS YOU HAVE A PERSONAL THIN FOR THE PENTAX,I HAVE 2 OF THESE SCOPES AND THEY WORK JUST FINE ONE ON A T/C ENCORE 22-250 AND A 308 THEY HAVE ADJUSTMENTS TO 1/4 MOA AND YOU DONT NEED A COIN OR SCREW DRIVER TO ADJUST.

I don't think Bushnell makes the 2x6x32 Trophy handgun in matte black anymore though. I paid the $151. at Midsouth for one of the older ones with the deer horns on the windage cap. I don't know if they have anymore or not. The newer ones have a B on the cap and I don't see them listed as matte on the Bushnell site.

All my scopes have the 20mm objective. Light gathering sucks. Are the bigger tubes that much better. I am getting tired of passing on shots at dusk that I could have made with a rifle scope. Any info would be appreiated ,Lone hunter
