I finally received my G2 carbine no barrel option. Nice walnut. The shape of the forend is an improvement. The butt stock is a bit to short for me but it will do. I had to open up the barrel channel on the forend just a little for my contender bull barrel. Installed one thin washer in the forward mount hole and I can now slide a dollar bill nicely under the barrel until it meets the forward barrel stud. Trigger pull out of the box is 2-3/4 pounds. Now it is off to the range!

Come on give us some more information. I'm thinking about ordering a carbine kit Tuesday.

I have a regular contender carbine and a G2 carbine. Both are nice but my first impression of the G2 is favorable. Maybe monday I will find time to make it to the range for a test drive.

I also have a regular contender carbine and its the G2 that I'm going to get. Where in Mo are you at. I'm in SW MO
