Can anyone share with me their favorite loads for the 7BR?? I would appreciate hearing any hunting/shooting success stories with this round. Thanks in advance.

I have a couple of favorite loads for this cartridge. The one I have used the most -- on everything from varmints to deer and exotics -- is 32 grains of H335 and a Rem 7 1/2 primer under the 120 grain Ballistic Tip. It has proven to be extremely accurate in several XPs and really seems to make the 7BR shine. MV on this load in my current XP is 2412 fps. With a good set-up and under ideal conditions, I have no qualms using this load on deer out to 250 yards. My longest shot on a deer has been right at 200; the bullet entered through the ribcage, wrecked the lungs and broke the offside shoulder before exiting.

I have also used 33.5 grains of 2520, the Rem 7 1/2 and the Sierra 130 grain Single Shot Pistol bullet; MV is 2344 fps. Both deer and coyotes have been taken with this load, and it is quite effective.

Both loads are near-max, so approach with all due cation.
