G'Day All,
Reloading for and shooting an SSK barrelled .375 JDJ Contender that I got this summer. Been lurking awhile and reading. Great info! So far, so good with Hornady 225 spires and H4895. Just got some Nosler 260 gr. Accubonds. Anyone shooting these in .375 JDJ? I'll be starting with H4895.

I'd try 165's or 180's. Looking at the load charts for the 300 win mag, 150's really dont' go much faster than 165's, and they actually don't shoot as flat, as they shed their velocity faster. You also might want to try the 168 gr Barnes triple shock.

Will do on the 375 load development. It will be awhile before I'll be able to get back to it. Going home to Oregon next week to chase elk.

I am shooting a 300WM Remington 700 BDl Stainless Steel. The bullets are 150gr with 74grs of 4831? I bought this rifle last fall and am still working up a load that it likes. If I can't get the 150grs to work I will try the 180grs bullets. It may also be the Nickle Rem brass that I have been using. They are new but to tight in the chamber even after full lenght resizing.

Thanks for the help and keep us informed on your progress I have been thinking about getting an Encore with a 375 JDJ barrel.
