Bought an XPR-100 Remington a few months back brand new and am getting ready to shoot it tomorrow. The barrel was a 223 Rem, and I recut it for a wildcat. I have no idea the twist rate the bbl is, anyone have a clue to help me out. I know I can do the ramrod game, but the bbl is kinda tied up right now. Any info will be appreciated, and I can use the time to reload.

Thanks in advance,

Mike, my source says 1-12". But this was for the XP and not the "R". I would say no more than 1-10" and no less than a 1-14". I know it doesn't pin point it, best I could tell ya for the moment.

I would also think 1-12 too. I would doubt it is a 1-14 as remington 223's seem to shoot 60-63 grain bullets purty well and i know that Winchester's 1-14 dont really like em....
