As per post elsewhere, I put a 2x scope on my Contender. I was thinking this:
The scope subtends 22.8" at 100yds. Doing the math, if I took a 16.125 black square, and mounted it point up like a diamond it would give me 22.8" (north to south and east to west) in the plex. I would then place an orange dot in center. I would place the square in the crosshair/plex and hopefully hit the center of the dot. This way I'll be able to align better with smaller magnification. Wadda ya think??
