| 22 Hornet blown out and cut back. I had one for a while.... in some ways I wish I still had it.. it was fun, but not overly useful if you weren't shooting "silly-wets". Mine wasn't getting used enough for what I had invested in the setup $120 in dies alone) so I sold it off and rolled the money into other things. If dies were more available and more reasonable I'd say pick one up to play with.... but.... |

| I don't really have any interest in buying it. I was just curious about it. It's been in that shop for at least 4 years. |

| I've always thought this would be really fun in the taurus raging hornet (22 hornet revolver). ream out the barrel and open the cylinder. |

| i was starting to have something similar made.. a 270REN short enough to be fired in a Ruger Single Six. With a lead SWC or LBT type bullet of course. I was starting towards it and got side tracked.. ended up having a 22 Long Snapper made.
Dont know what I'd do with it afterwards, but... |

| I built a Contender rifle barrel for the Ren, and it works very well. However, I would recommend lengthening the chamber to take full length hornet brass. If you're not shooting silhouette with it the case length limit doesn't apply anyhow. I use a NEI 110 gr. bore riding bullet and WC680 to get 1800 fpr from a 18" barrel. Won't set the world afire but makes a nice cast bullet shooter and a great small game rifle. |
