Does anyone have experience with this setup?

13 1/4" Custom Shop barrel with muzzle tamer. A deal I could not pass up (ever hear that before?).

I am at the range tomorrow, weather permitting. My rifle tag is filled, so just paper for now.

I took the advice of a female tech at fox ridge outfitters regarding my 15 inch encore 454 casull barrel, she said the muzzle tamer would work so I sent it in got it back and tried it out, then contacted male techs in the custom shop who told me muzzle tamers don't work on 454 casull barrels.I went to http://www.probed2000.com for a muzzle brake on my 15" encore 30-06 barrel it works great.The muzzle tamer may work with other calibers but I'm not about to try again, burned once won't get burned again.

Worked fine today. In fact, after the first shot all I could do was laugh! This is a pistol my wife can shoot...more than once. Not really a comparison though, the 454 is some heavy metal.

I've shot 460 S&Ws with and without the muzzel tamer and they do work.
