I heard a rumor on the phone this morning that Thompson Center Arms has been sold. I decided to call and find out if it was true or not. Yes it is... The young lady in customer care that I talked to informed me that the rumor is true. The purchaser is the co-host on "Game Trails" the TC television program. I believe his name is Greg Rich or Ritz. From what I hear the business has been "for sale" since Warren Center died a year or two ago. Anyway... Supposedly it will be "business as usual" according to one source and "big changes" according to another source. I guess that time will tell. $bob$

New blood, and he shoots a TC, muzzleloader, it will be good I hope. One well placed shot is all it takes.

I'm looking at this as good news. Maybe, just maybe, they'll again sell their guns in California. I'll have to contact them and encourage this as I've wanted a TC here for a long time. Thanks for the info.

Just a follow-up to my letter of March 5, 2005 to TC encouraging them to again sell their guns in CA. They wrote back to me on March 24, 2005 and said: "At the present time our California based rep. group is in contact with the California D.O.J. regarding the testing of the T/C hand guns. If we hear of something positive we will find a way of notifying our California consumers, dealers, and distributors." So, maybe there's hope after all!
