Was wandering if any of you gents could tell me the approximate value of an Ingram 30/223 15" Contender barrel in near mint condition. Any help would be appreciated.

I've bought and sold perhaps 6 Ingram barrels over the years, and it seems that $160-175 is about the going rate.

Dave,

What would the shoulder angle be on that round? Is it 40 degrees?

Regards

Headstamp20,
I have to plead ignorance on that one. I have never seen a 30/223 round. This was a barrel in that I recieved in a contender package. I got 3 barrels a super 14 in 7mm TCU, 45/410 - 10" bull barrel and the Ingram barrel.
I do not load or shoot a .223 so I am not all that familiar with it either.
I have always shot a 222 so never saw the need for a 223.
My reloading materials were left at my fathers when I went to visit him for christmas. Boy I sure do miss them.
Anybody else know anything about the 30/223 round?

David
