Any BIG HOLE encore guys with .458 on up..esp the
50 Cal stuff ! If so whatcha got and barrel length and any game taken ? (Also any fer sale?!)

I shot a 500 S&W for a while and killed a couple of deer with it. I sold it earlier this year and will probably replace it with a 50/70/750 sooner or later. I'm sure you have seen the 600 NE Encore videos floating around. That and a longer barrel 12 gauge are about as big as you can go with the Encore. I believe the 12 GFH has been done with an Encore. Remember you only have 1" barrel diameter to work with on the Encore.

I took a Bison and Asian wirh my 500 Smiths..both 1 shot kills with 500cast...Encore is a new species and now you can go heavy with 700 gr cast at 1200fps from 9" barrel,so I am thinking 1500fps(?) from a 16 or 20" Encore ...Looking at Ed Hubel .585HE with 750s...Did chat with JD at SSK for the .620(!!) "Hurling" 1050s at 1200fps +! 16" for rifle and pistol frames..Bull SS with Integral brake and mounts for decent price..hmmmm
