just want to know if any one has a good recipe using 125 gr NBT or any good loads for deer for a encore 308 with a 15" barrel thanks george

I load Fed case , Fed 210 39.0 gr , AA 2015 BR

This gives me 2580 FPS

I just grabed a load manual
2015 with a 130 gr bullet is 37.3 - 43.5 gr

Not the fastest , but not a lot of flash and less BOOM
Off sand bags ,with a scope I get just over 1" 3 shot groups at 100 yds .
I get 2 - 2.5" groups at 100 yds from the tree stand ( rested )
Someone with better eyes mite do better .

This load has put 4 or 5 deer in the freezer .
From < 10 yds ( ear shot ) to 150 yds

FYI ( you probely already know ) ear plugs and muffs are a must
