I've been thinking of an H-S PRECISION Pro-Series 2000 VP or SP...Anyone shooting one of these? I'd love to hear feedback on how they perform [Big Grin]

I've shot a friends 7BR and 6PPC for silhpouette, excellant guns. I wouldn't hesitate at all to get one myself if I wasn't in Kalifornia.

Sean,
Haven't shot one myself, but I have never heard anything negative about there gun. I have three of their stocks on my XP's. I love em.

I've got the heavy one in 7mm-08 with a Leupold 2.5-8 LONG eye-relief scope on it in Jewell rings.

Works as advertised.

Five shots in .5" at 100yd with Hornady's loaded 139gr ammo, or my reloads with their bullets or Nosler 140's (B-tip & Partition). If I had known how well Hornady's ammo was going to shoot, I might not have bought the Wilson dies and other reloading gear.

Thanks to all for the excellent feedback! I am still riding the fence on this one, mostly because I have several projects going right now [anticipating the arrival of a Minty Rem 513TR with R.A. Litschert 15X target scope (looks like a huge J.Unertl or J.W.Fecker) that should prove fun] but I may opt for the HS as a late winter project :-)
