1M brass enough? Probably not. After shooting the 10" for awhile and blowing up all the hedge balls for the quail this fall, you'll probably want another .357 Max or two. A 12" untapered Contender barrel is a handy setup, and the carbines in this cal. are pretty neat also. Ask Howard about his 18" Max. He's shot it quite a bit with a pretty good variety of bullets. 296 is still his favorite powder, last I talked to him. Straight shooting, hard hitting, and easy to load for make it a natural in the Contender in any barrel length from at least 10" up. Then if you pick up on some of the other rounds based on the Max. case like Dalton's .221 DLH..... wellllll, ya'll better lay in a stock of anohter 1M .357 Max. brass. Mike | |||
