I would like a 45 caliber barrel and don't know which one. Ideas Thanks

I'm not set up for making Encore barrels yet, but have an itch to drag out the 45-120x 3 1/4" Sharps reamer and do a 28 to 30" long untapered octagon barrel. Should be pretty slick if you like the buffalo rifle style. Wouldn't advise it in a handgun, but that doesn't mean someone wouldn't just have to have one.

A 458 Win Mag will do a good job. Fun to shoot and the 405 gr bullets do well too. The 500 gr bullets are not too far behind a 24 in. rifle barrel velocity either. It can be loaded down to 45-70 velocities too. I don't think you will disappointed with one.
