Good day,
I have a 375 barrel on one of my Contenders. I have a set of Pachmyr grips and forend on it and my problem is the screw or bolt that holds the grip onto the gun keeps bending. I have had one of these bolts has already broken once. JD told me that it was from resting the but of the gun on a hard surface(shooting bench) while shooting. I agreed with this theory because I had rested it on the bench but that bolt is bent AGAIN and I know I havn't rested it on anything since. Anyone else have this problem.
I'm just scared I'll break another bolt and maybe get hit by something like the frame when it breaks.
Thanks
Mike

make a sleeve out of a piece of pipe, for the bolt to go thru. cut it to fit length of bolt between the head and where it tigthens down. hope this makes some sense. works on my 44mag/pach grip. mine was bending also. stronger now
