I'm new to this forum, I'm a sometime IPSC/ Fulltime cowboy action shooter.
I've got an itch for a single shot .223 conversion for a 1911a1. I know of at least 3 different companies the make/made them.
Pachmayr made one called the Dominator,with a rear sliding breach. Springfield Armory made one called the SASS (gotta love that name) it was a tip up barrel.And Clerke Guns make a conversion with a verticle sliding breach.
Does anyone have info on these guns? Does anyone know where I might find one of these beasts. I really have a bad hankering for one so any help would be appreciated.

I don't myself but you might go to Google.com and do a search. Just type it in like you would say it to a friend. That is my favorite search engine right now and if it is on the web it will find it. Slim
