i know this is a varmet load but has anyone used this cal on white tail deer just wondering

no it is not a deer caliber. but with that said i've taken about 5 deer with a 22-250 rifle. not one took another step. one may get away from you with a less than perfect shot. the same could be said of a 45-70. shot placement is the key. hit a hard bone with 22-250, it may not penetrate. hit a gut,leg,ear,etc with a 45-70 and the deer may get away. try it, but practice,practice,practice till there's no doubt you can make the shot.
