This is probably old news to most of you folks but Federal is no longer selling brass....... of any kind. I called a rep at 800-322-2342, Brad I think. And he says not only no 7/30 brass, but no brass, period. He says it just doesn't sell!!! Any body with any new federal 7/30 brass out there have mercy and make me a deal. Please. Thanks, Jim....

It is too bad about the Federal brass. I was very partial to the Gold Medal brass in .223 and .308 Win. I know everyone knows it already but I will say it anyways. It is a good idea to sort brass by weight. I picked up two boxes of "left on the range" Federal Premium brass in .308 Win. and found it to vary 180.1 to 184.9 grains. I like my brass a little closer then that. Slim
