Hey Guys;
Was at the gun show and seen my first gyrojet pistol $950. Looks like a nice pistol it only had two rounds with it so it stayed at the show.

I know this off the topic but any body here ever shot one.It looks like a neat gun to shoot but he said the ammo was $20 to $25 a round.

Just a neat pistol was wondering about it.

Like the name says, it was designed to be a jet (rocket) propelled round. Works much better in theory than practice. Acceleration of the slug is not fast enough to insure penetration at close range. Great collectors item, but never a real shooter. Saw one once, but was laughing too hard to try and fire it. Like I say, collectors only. I don't think you could buy enough ammo at any price to shoot it.
