| I know where one of em is, its in my gun safe I bought it this past fall, went in to the local gunshop to pick up a stainless Contender and there was a G2 in the display case, the owner handed it to me to look over and I bought it too. That was the first one he could get, and he says he hasnt been able to get one since. Hang in there, they're worth waitng for. Mark |

| Contender85: Boy you really know how to hurt a guy. I would gladly watch it for you if it needs a babysitter. Sounds like it could get jealous of your old contender. Hate to see a fight start between the two. Ha Ha.
I do however plan on hitting as many gun shows as possible in search of a G-2 pistol frame. Well wish me luck. I'll let you know if I find one. |

| One in my gun safe also. I called Ed's Contenders in OKC and he had them. Shipped to my FFL holder. |

| OK, you are tired of hearing from guys who already have a G-2. I had been waiting for over a year, as the release date was rolled from month to month to year to year. I had a deposit down at a local gunshop and got one in June 03. It was approximately the 700th one of the line that was shipped to a dealer. At the TC shop in front of the plant, a guy told me that they had backorders for "tens of thousands of G-2 frames". Surely, they are catching up by now? Go to someone you trust, put down a deposit, so the next one in will be yours. Makes a difference IMHO. Also, IMHO, the Bellm trigger kit for the Encore is a must for the G-2; turned mine into a shooter. |

| I hope you guys don't throw anything at me, but here goes. I just got interested in the art of TC and was in my local toy store and low and behold there sat a G2 Contender. It had a 14" .22 LR Match barrel with a 2.5x TC scope. Oh yea it was a used gun. Yep, used. I picked it up for $450. It was in excellent shape. I was very lucky my dealer told me because it was wo hard to get your hands on a new one. Waiting lists and all. I took it to my range and it is a tack driver at 50 yards!!! Now to start my collection of barrels, heheheheh! Raf |
