Barrel - 16 & 7/8" Fox Ridge 30-30 rechamber Load - 51 Grs. W760, WW Large Rifle primers, Rem. Brass. All rounds just about fell out of the chamber and showed no cratered primers. 130 Gr. Hornady SSP - average speed 2667 fps 130 Gr. Speer H/P - average speed 2659 fps 125 Gr. Nosler B/T - average speed 2639 fps All averages were 5 shot strings. I Didn't shoot for groups because it was hitting close to 100 when I was shooting, the air conditioned 100 yd. shooting building was full, and I start to render out like a hog in this weather. The velocity seems a little high from others I have seen posted and I don't know how much of this was due to the heat and how much was due to the extra barrel length. If I can get into the air conditioned building this weekend, I hope to see how much the velocities vary from today. The best news of all was that this was the first time I have used my Pact and I didn't hit my sensors one time . Dennis [ 08-01-2003, 22:00: Message edited by: DennisF ]

Kyode, I forgot to say that all readings were at 6 feet from muzzle. That sounds outstanding for a 30-30 AI. Big improvement over standard chambering. I thought about a 30-30 AI before giving mine to Mike, but the thought of buying AI dies made me shudder since I am unemployed at the moment . If it gives the type of accuracy that mine did in the standard chamber, it should be a great Bambi gun. Dennis
