I am writing this, looking to see if there is enough interest for our idea to become a reality.
Would you be interested in a 3-day seminar that is suited to the specialty handgun hunter/varminter. This would be a field shoot using field rests from field positions shooting at unknown distances on steel targets. 300+ rounds would be needed for the amount of shooting you would be doing ( You could bring more than one specialty handgun). Location would likely be just SE of Pueblo, Colorado. There would also be some bench shooting to work on basic form and to get zero's set correctly. We would limit participants to 10 (Maybe allow 12) so as to maximize the amount of shooting everyone gets. Lodging and food would be your responsibility. Sometime in the month of May is when this would happen. Distances would begin at 150 yards an go out to 500 yards (Yes, we will be stretching some of the limits with a few longer targets to make it challenging and fun).
Again, what I'm writing about is not a reality yet. Whether or not it does become that will depend upon what specialty handgun shooters and hunters think about it. I may or may not have an answer for you since Steve & I really began to put this together yesterday out on a ranch SE of Pueblo.
