Well, I just got a frame yesterday, so the contender disease is out of dormition I see that this forum isn't very active, and I know many folks are staying away from the pond, so, where is the most active ss forum?

This time around I'm kinda more interested in playing with the carbine barrels. But I'll need at least one 10" pistol barrel in say a 357 mag or max, and maybe another one in ...

let me recommend a 14" 30-30AI for the second one.........and a third in 22lr match

Paul H, Regarding 357 Mag or max., I finally got my .357 Mag barrel shooting well - see the thread about vertical stringing. I considered a Max, but opted for the Mag as I really don't need the extra power of the Max. Also, with 16.7 grains of H110, a 158 grain projectile is moving at close to 1700 fps. You'll enjoy your new pistol, I'm sure.
